eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in Austin, TXJob Duties: Analyze users’ needs and then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs. Build performance efficient, high-volume and highly scalable software applications and optimized features in support of eBay’s distributed systems. Contribute to iOS mobile application development using test driven development and agile methodologies. Research, analyze, design, develop, and test the solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews. Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems. Estimate engineering efforts, plan execution cycles, and rollout system changes. Participate in multiple internal interest groups in Marketplaces in trending topics like Machine Learning, AI, DevOps, mobile development, and others. Continuous Deployment through multiple environments to get rapid feedback.  Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the US.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered, software engineer, or related occupation. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Objective- C(2) Swift(3) Android(4) Java(5) XCode(6) Instruments and Profiling ToolsMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
