eBay, Inc. seeks Systems Administrator 3 in Austin, TXJob Duties: Build and implement software infrastructure for the End-To-End eBay Technology Platform. Develop system administration tools utilizing unix, linux, load balancing, networking, dns, tcp/ip, database, and storage technologies. Troubleshoot systems resource issues like IO, memory, disk space, and cpu in a variety of operating environments. Develop and deploy software solutions to automate repetitive tasks employing a variety of technologies such as go, python, docker, github, kubernetes, ansible, and bash. Perform technical triage, especially in the context of crisis level incident management. Directly respond to alarms and crisis events for eBay’s production systems and services. Collaborate with partner teams to tackle the underlying causes of alerts and issues using knowledge and experience with large and distributed systems, including technologies such as cloud computing, web services, and multi-tier serving architectures.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.Special Skill Requirements: (1)    Red Hat,(2)    Oracle,(3)    HTTP,(4)    LVM,(5)    Shell Scripting,(6)    Server Virtualization,(7)    Ansible Automation,(8)    Veritas,(9)    PerlMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
