eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 2 in Austin, TXJob Duties: Build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems powering the world’s largest E-Commerce websites at a large scale. Design, develop and deploy end-to-end experience of tools that Teammates (Agents) use to interact with our customers and help them resolve issues. Develop use cases, identify and analyze how regulations impact the tools our teammates used to help keep our buyers and sellers safe. Estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. Participate in brainstorming sessions and supply ideas to eBay Inc.’s technology, algorithms, and products. Convert current eBay’s Customer Service teammate tools written in legacy technology to newer technology stack. Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver results. Aggregate information from various places and build relationships with key partners to get needed information to frame out and solve problems. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
