eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Information Security Engineer in San Jose, CAJob Duties: Job Duties: L Lead and manage operations for the cybersecurity vulnerability program to ensure effective delivery of assessments, solutions, remediation, business unit level reporting, process improvements, and documentation.  Implement security tools to improve vulnerability management functions and drive automation and efficiencies. Identify and apply industry resources and global information security domain guides to develop industry leading security vulnerability management solutions and approaches.  Assess current and emerging threats, cyber-attacks and zero-day vulnerabilities that pose risks to eBay. Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and metrics for the security vulnerability program. Establish and prioritize security vulnerability assessment activities including integration into eBay’s software development lifecycle. Track all vulnerability remediation efforts and drive accountability across the organization for remediation, escalating issues and problems when needed.  Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the USMinimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology and Management, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Security Engineer, or a related occupation. Special Skill Requirements: 1.    Vulnerability management program design2.    Deep technical understanding of infrastructure security vulnerability management requirements and solutions3.    Compliance and regulatory frameworks4.    Cloud Computing environments5.    Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, SQL, PowerBI, Rapid 76.    IT governance and strategy7.    Cyber transformation8.    GCP, AzureBase salary:  $165,000 -205,700 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
