In this role, you will create customer centric product documentation, including concepts, examples, tasks, and reference information, for F5's growing portfolio of products.The role requires the ability to comprehend and translate complex technologies into easy-to-use content for our customers.Primary Responsibilities:Design, develop, deliver, and maintain customer-facing user documentation.Produce a range of deliverables, including concepts and tasks for networking technologies related features, installation instructions, illustrations, video scripts, and more.Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and identify requirements and customer requirements.Analyze specifications and product descriptions and recommend the best documentation approach.Learn customer experience using F5 products.Adhere to established style and process to provide consistency and completeness to documentation.Work on multiple, concurrent projects.Plan, estimate, and track work effort.Participate in cross functional planning meetings.Organize and facilitate content review process.Quickly accustomed to new technical communication tools used to create content.Participate in internal and external training programs.Consistently meet commitments.Perform other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of XML authoring and content management tools such as Markdown, XML, Adobe Experience Manager, Topic Based Authoring, and so on.Knowledge of DITA/XML authoring principles and content management concepts.Knowledge in Docs as Code concept.Knowledge of program management methodologies and systems such as Agile and JIRA.Experience in API documentation.Knowledge in Web Application, HTTP and Security.Strong problem-solving skills: ability to make progress with less-than-complete information.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Hands-on experience with networking technologies and related technical documentation – advantage.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related degree.2+ years in technical content creation in software/ networking domain.The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
