If you are passionate about new ideas and solutions – Join us to embark on a diverse and exciting career paths in a dynamic, high-tech environment. As a Category Manager, you’ll be part of a broader team of 12 people, along with the manager based in Greece. You’ll be managing a group of products for our company and will be responsible for pricing and overall promotion and product strategy to maximize consumer and commercial appeal.What a Category Manager does at HP:Manage the 4P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promo) and being accountable for efficient resource deployment, profitable target achievement and plans execution for the Home and Office Printing hardware product lines.Understand products, competition, channels, market and buyer behavior: reference point on product knowledge both internally and externally.Drive quarterly and annual category and business planning and its Sales and Marketing implementation, across different routes-to-market.Responsible for accurate forecasting and business management across a number of metrics (revenue, share, margin, KPIs)Internally: represents Category team with Retail, Commercial sales force, local and international Management, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.Externally: direct engagement with local Distributors for business strategy, special pricing and ordering. With HP Partners mostly for product trainings, sales events.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Economics or Finance.5-8 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experience, possibly.Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management expertise.Fluency in both Croatian and English language.Understanding of business management, sales challenges and strategies.Strong communication skills: internally, at senior management level. Externally: ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance).Strong negotiation skills.Knowledge of promotional marketing strategies and practices.Good knowledge of numerical analyses and methods, incl.
