SEMA PS Category ACM, ACS and Displays & DockingDescription -SEMA PS Category ACM, ACS and Displays & Docking HP SEMA Personal Systems Category Team is looking for an Area Category Manager to manage our Value Products within the Personal Systems category in the SEMA market. In this role you will be responsible for driving the workstation, value and displays & docking business across SEMA.Responsibilities: Scope of responsibilities is the ACS (Advanced Computing Solutions) as well as the Displays and Docking Categories for the SEMA market.Define and drive the long-term strategy to enable sustained profitable growth and drive HP leadership across the market.Define and drive quarterly game plans for the categories in scope and drive execution to achieve business goals.Product roadmap expertise, support to countries and support request to WW category and GBU teams.P&L Management (pricing, promotion)Business management (COR and MOR), monitor business and drive gap mitigation and opportunity materialization plans.Collaborate with country teams, WW teams and Market central teams to collectively drive business goal attainment.                       Knowledge and Skills: IT industry knowledge.Business planning skills, multidimensional.Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance)Education and Experience Required: University or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering; advanced degree or MBA preferred.Typically, 8-12 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management expertise End User Acct management as an alternative.Preference will be given to members from designated groups, i.e. EE in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
