Payroll Tax Expert (m/f/d)Description -We are looking for a Payroll Tax Expert who will be the single point of contact for all payroll tax related topics within HP and for external payroll tax audits. In this role you will perform ongoing self-audits regarding (payroll tax) compliance, review internal controls, transactions & processes incorporating knowledge around local governmental regulations (payroll tax/benefit in kind) & internal HP policies. You will execute various actions for improving compliance of key internal processes. You will work closely with the German CFO, providing assertion on mitigated risk for the processes audited and decide on actions accordingly. Responsibilities: Accountable and proactively managing ongoing self-audit to secure payroll tax compliance (focus benefit in kind) of HP Deutschland GmbH.Accountable for professional auditor communication & audit execution (single point of contact). Analyzes audit findings and data, remediation actions that need to be done and provides reports and recommendations to the management. Responsible e2e to drive execution and completion of audit remediation actions across multiple business units affected in defined timelines using project management & analytical skills. This includes reviewing internal controls, conducting test work, documenting processes, updating guidelines/policies (EEM, Events) inform required stakeholders and drive employee communication / education.Manage relationship with external consultancy (KPMG), evaluates compliance proposals and distributes information within HP to required stakeholders.Execute to finish: Drives compliance projects e2e, proactively communicates project status to management. Stay abreast of payroll tax (benefit in kind) and required industry knowledge around new audit developments, policies and standards, systems and applications used, benchmarks, emerging risks (strategic, operational, financial, compliance, fraud) and trends in audit scope. Knowledge and Skills: Good business Analytics & reporting skills.Solid knowledge of payroll tax (benefit in kind) and compliance management expertise.Professional communication skills to handle external (audit) stakeholders, mastery English and German language. Good work organization and ability to work with deadlines. Acquired learning and practical understanding of core HP businesses, internal audit policies and regulations and revenue cycle. Interprets statistical operations such as correlations or averages, applies financial and business acumen, research, analytical skill, risk assessment and scoping skills during the course of work. Identifies automation and technology opportunities; provide ideas so processes can be automated, improved, combined, or eliminated. Understanding and practical application of project management phases and concepts, and MS Office applications. Applies critical thinking and problem solving skills.
