Accessibility Program ManagerDescription -We are looking for a Technical Accessibility Expert to join our team and help us ensure our products and services are accessible to everyone. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement accessibility standards and guidelines for our products and servicesConduct accessibility audits of our products and services and identify areas for improvementWork with engineering teams to remediate accessibility issuesEducate and train employees on accessibility best practicesStay up-to-date on the latest accessibility standards and technologiesDETAIL RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and maintain processes, methods, training, and tools for implementing accessibility in design and development per identified best practices against current and future regulatory and customer requirements and standards.Support Evaluation & Testing PM in identifying AT Products and test tools for design and development as necessary.Identify and follow procedures for creating and maintaining business and legal records.Participate in industry, advocacy, and customer groups and events to monitor, influence, and act for included areas of responsibility.Develop and maintain supporting data and metrics for your programs.Support ad hoc requests from Businesses, Sales, and Global Functions, prioritizing as appropriate.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field3+ years of experience in web accessibilityStrong knowledge of WCAG, Section 508, and other accessibility standards and guidelinesKnowledge of CVAA, EAA, and other applicable regulationsExperience with accessibility testing tools and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge and Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local languageAbility to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $89,200.00 -- $137,400.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
