Prepare detailed accounting memos and write-ups to document the revenue accounting treatment accurately.Execute thorough accounting analyses and process journal entries for bad debt, sales allowances, and other revenue-related financial activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Perform reconciliations of revenue-related general ledger accounts, proactively investigate discrepancies, and implement resolutions to address any variances.Execute SOX controls rigorously and always maintains unwavering compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act regulations.Compile a comprehensive month-end management reporting package, highlighting fluctuations in bad debt and revenue reserves, and providing insightful commentary on revenue accounting issues.Prepare ASC 606 financial disclosures for inclusion in SEC filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.Calculate and apply ASC 606 revenue adjustments on a quarterly basis, ensuring financial statements accurately reflect the company's revenue position.Provide robust support for both external and internal audit processes, including the preparation of detailed working papers for auditors and the analysis of complex data sets.Engage in special projects on an as-needed basis, applying analytical skills and accounting expertise to support strategic initiatives and resolve ad hoc challenges.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting complemented by a minimum of two years of hands-on accounting experienceGood understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is preferred and prior experience in revenue accounting is a plusExhibit strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detailProficiency with Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, and RevPro revenue management tool is preferredStrong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)Strong communication skills, both oral and writtenEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
