Job Summary:THE TEAMThe Field Technician Engineer team is responsible for the preparation and delivery of technology support to events on-site to key clients as well as assisting remotely for self-service events.The team is distributed between sites in Australia and New Zealand and as a result, there will be a need for occasional travel.THE JOB The Field Engineer role provides hands-on IT setup for event delivery and operations at venues and greenfield sites, and assists with relationship management and client support as the event service relationship point of contact for the businesses.The role requires technical skills, stakeholder management skills and the ability to follow process and procedure documents to ensure that client needs are met, with an emphasis on ensuring good records are kept and the team continually improves.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Install and maintain hardware, software and telecommunications infrastructure of the network at client sites; support and maintain entry hardware and related software at venues and Box Offices.Working closely with the Field Services team, plan and coordinate events with Client Service Managers to ensure successful event delivery; provide venue support to permanent and temporary venuesProvide venue support at permanent and temporary venues and events including weekend support.Coordinate equipment logistics and couriers for all events in a cost-effective manner; manage full set up, bump in and bump out of events as requiredProvide IT support, conduct on the job training for casuals and contractors; maintain asset & equipment registers,WHAT WE NEEDAvailability to work on weekends and on a rotating roster with the teamProven track record in building and managing relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.A positive attitude; demonstrates strong service ownership and self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and personablePrevious experience with delivering events and a strong awareness of the live entertainment and/or ticketing industryHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsEQUAL OPPORTUNITIESWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
