Smartsheet is looking for a proven SaaS sales leader to develop and scale our Growth teams in the Asia Pacific & Japan region . You will be responsible for leading all Enterprise Sales Representative (ESR), Business Development Representative (BDR) and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams across the region. In addition you will be responsible for driving pipeline growth and New Logo acquisition for the region, working hand in hand with regional and global Marketing and Demand Gen teams, Revenue Operations and regional Sales leaders.   Your teams will be responsible for identifying, engaging and qualifying prospective customers as we continue to grow our inbound and outbound demand and prospecting motions. Partnering with key stakeholders to create account expansion strategies and targeted New Logo acquisition strategies, creating and refining sales plays, creating end-to-end pipeline generation initiatives, incorporating the customer journey and selling high value solutions are essential success factors of this role. These elements need to be synthesized into a cohesive strategy that supports accelerating pipeline, New Logo and bookings growth across the APJ region.   You have a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals with solid leadership, a positive attitude, accountability, high energy, integrity, attention to detail and discipline. You will be highly collaborative, data driven and operationally very strong, with a problem solving mindset. As a member of the APJ leadership team, you will play a crucial role in making Smartsheet the Collaborative Work Management market leader in the APJ region. This role will report to the VP & GM, Asia Pacific & Japan and will be based in Sydney, Australia. You Will: Recruit, hire and develop high performing ESR, BDR and SDR teams, including Managers Develop, execute, evaluate and refine aspects of sales strategy, process, and workflow to contribute to the APJ business consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales objectives Develop and lead the plan to drive consistent pipeline growth and required coverage across each APJ sub-region, in partnership with regional Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Channel and Sales Ops and Sales Enablement teams  Develop and lead the plan to drive New Logo growth across each APJ sub-region, in partnership with regional Sales, Solution Engineering, Marketing and Channel teams  Develop trusted relationships with leaders across the APJ and global business, including Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales Ops, Solution Engineering, Channel, Customer Success and Sales Enablement Play leadership role in operationalizing multi-touch targeted lead generation campaigns, including program creation, field enablement, process definition, key metrics and use of software tools Successfully develop and execute across all disciplines of sales management, including Account/Territory/Opportunity planning, sales methodology execution, forecasting and professional development Be a coach to Managers and reps in the execution of a solution-based sales process encompassing multiple groups within accounts of all sizes Proactively Identify and make recommendations for improvements around process, efficiency and productivity of teams  that inhibit lead flow, conversion and pipeline growth  Actively use our core applications to manage business, including Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Tableau, LinkedIn and others Align with sales enablement team to build a curriculum for SDRs, BDRs and ESRs across on-boarding, sales trainings, solutions and industry education, and role acumen Create a high-performing, energized, and supportive culture, emphasizing reward and recognition     You Have: Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales objectives leading enterprise SaaS sales teams by winning new business and driving substantial growth in accounts of all sizes Proven ability to drive high volume, high activity sales teams to achieve business development goals Experience working with entry level sales professionals, coaching and developing them to progress their careers Minimum of 7 years experience, including second line management, preferably leading SaaS business development teams Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask, work cross-functionally within the organization, and thrive in a collaborative environment High level of attention to detail, very strong operational capability Demonstrated sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC) Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth software company where change is a constant Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Google Apps, Tableau skills are a bonus Equal Opportunity Employer: Smartsheet is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment with the best employees.
