As a Carrier Operations Leader, you will:
Be the “front line” in ensuring the highest standard of Flexport quality: shipments are delivered on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
Be responsible for ensuring final mile providers satisfy internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery.
Design and follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for internal and external stakeholders.
Solve issues quickly and escalate issues cross functionally to identify solutions.
Your team will:
Seamlessly coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners
Identify opportunities to improve carrier time in transit
Execute the end-to-end movement of parcel shipments within a regional network
You should have:
A college degree (or equivalent experience)
3+ years experience with last mile delivery carriers / parcel industry
Able to adapt to new technology and can thrive in a fast paced environment. Be able to manipulate large data sets for carrier analysis.
Effective time management. Be able to properly prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks, and know when urgency is critical.
Effective communication both verbally and in writing for leading external carrier meetings
Teamwork and relationship building with a bias for action. Always stay merchant obsessed.
Orientation towards working smarter and adopting best practices and standardization
Problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
