The individual in this role will be responsible for interpreting quantitative data, extracting business insights, and developing sales programs to bring together business opportunities and drive tangible sales impact. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Strong analytical skills: logical thinking, capability to define problem, decompose complex problem and come up with creative solutions, able to navigate through ambiguities Strong practical experience with business data analysis and experimental designs such as A/B testing, quasi experiments, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills, in both Mandarin Chinese and English Experienced in working cross-functionally Experience with machine learning modeling is a plus but not required Experienced in sharing technical concepts and results with a non-technical audience Knowledge on macro economy, consumer goods and online sales is a plus but not required Description Description • Analyze various sales data and work with cross-functional teams to understand business problems, find opportunities and generate new, creative ideas • Design sales programs to gain business opportunities, work out business proposal, and co-ordinate sales teams on execution • Design experiments when necessary, work with CDA / DMP / Sales team on the process • Collaborate with Finance / DMP team to create new business tools to increase efficiency or to realize new business ideas • Present analytical findings and results to management • Facilitate team internal ideation and brainstorming on how to apply the latest technologies in real business context Education & Experience Education & Experience • PhD in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields with 2+ years of data science/quantitative modeling experience • M.S. in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields with 5+ years of data science/quantitative modeling experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements
