Instructional Products (IP) produces innovative instructional deliverables for all Apple hardware and software products, and is responsible for a critical portion of the customer experience. IP is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with a strong background managing customer-facing instructional content and software projects. The EPM plays a key role in cross-functional communication, driving projects, and delivering innovative user-facing content. The successful candidate is a self-starter who has a track record managing and delivering multiple dynamic projects simultaneously with minimal oversight. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications At least 4 years of technical project management and cross-functional team management experience working with instructional designers, UI producers, and software engineers Excellent project management skills: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change/risk management, and handling rapid development cycles Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience Good knowledge of iOS and macOS client app development and ability to drive QA efforts, follow up on issues, and prioritize as needed Strong organization and facilitation skills (requirements and design brainstorming sessions, progress and status meetings) Great leadership with a collaborative mindset to drive results Description Description You work hands-on with instructional designers, UX designers, localization, and engineering DRIs to track project details and drive multiple concurrent deliverables to completion. As part of your role, you identify and communicate risks and dependencies, provide timely project status updates to stakeholders, solve problems, and remove obstacles for development. Also, you identify opportunities for schedule improvements and process efficiencies within and between teams. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
