Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience in world-class logistics operations with emphasis on vendor, 3PL, or service provider management. Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and strong track record of customer service. Should be systems literate (WMS, TMS, Creola, Carrier Platforms, etc) as well as possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Agility exploring complex data sets utilizing data visualization tools (Tableau, Advanced Excel), and turning data into meaningful information and insights. Ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment while demonstrating strong work ethic and a high degree of flexibility. Up to 15% travel required. Description Description •Partner with 3PL Carriers in support of Americas Logistics Transportation and Distribution Operations.
•Identify areas for process improvement and innovation; investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions.
•Develop working knowledge and passion to understand and document business processes across the Logistics network (Carrier, Distribution/Repair Center, and Store Operations)
•Prioritize and multi-task effectively to provide strategic and tactical support for projects, including capital planning.
•Monitor key performance indicators, drive performance, and expense management.
•Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of Logistics Ops.
•Create and enhance robust data visualizations that will help to answer commonly asked questions quickly and thoroughly about Apple’s Outbound Transportation network.
•Collaborate with stakeholders as a representative of logistics, and provide updates to leadership:inventory, distribution, freight, cycle time, etc. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics or related field required.
