The Reseller Operations New Product Introduction (RO NPI) position has a wide range of responsibilities that are focused on ensuring our Reseller, Education, Enterprise and Retail SMB Operations teams are ready to support new product launches. We are looking for the best individual to represent the voice of the NPI process to the broader RO organization and to the various NPI readiness teams we partner with. To achieve this end the main activities are: working with the cross functional teams on the analysis, commitment, and delivery of product, as well as developing/running critical NPI processes and tools. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 6 - 8 years experience with complex supply chain operations Prior experience in new product launches, project management, product planning, production control, inventory management, or production / manufacturing operations is strongly preferred. Combine a working knowledge of extraordinary supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy. You should be able to exert thoughtful influence in a matrixed organization - should be a strong teammate and communicator. You should be confident presenting to executive management. Additional requirements include the ability to both think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of amenity in working with numbers. Key Competencies: Strong written, verbal, presentation, and leadership communication Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations Solid data analytics/quantitative skills and ability to interpret trends from complex data structures for planning decisions Knowledge of CPFR process with special focus on forecasting Be able to excel when dealing with ambiguity Description Description COMMUNICATION: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Bring together (gather) and disseminate information to internal customers needed to make decisions and drive the business Work with senior leaders and functional authorities to understand account business problems and processes Effectively maneuver within the account and business to get to the right people Supply appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting as requested Identify, communicate and handle account risks related to NPI STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Proactively represent business in the New Product Introductions and drive execution until product is in sustaining mode Play a leadership role in the standardization of account deliverables and ensure adherence to commitments Act as a key point of contact for all Reseller Operations NPI related activities Effectively cope with change as well as a lack of general direction Maneuver through complex political situations PLANNING & EXECUTION: Handle medium to large size new product introductions, many of which involve diverse global teams and require significant cross-functional interaction Analyze demand and backlog data in conjunction with customers credit ratings and funding, distribution flexibility, channel directions. Monitor, track and report on account performance from pre PO commitment to POD Develop and implement channel strategies and account support plans for NPI PROCESS MANAGEMENT: Drive process improvements, automation, documentation, operational metrics, and reporting. Manage NPI communication strategy, guidelines, and templates for partners Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field required.
