Apple's US Decision Intelligence (DI) team is looking for a talented individual who is passionate about crafting, implementing, and operating analytical solutions that have a direct and measurable impact on Apple Sales and its customers.
As a US Data Visualization Specialist, you will work as a key member of a data-centric team to drive the exploration, analysis, development, execution, and measurement of analytical solutions that are essential to running the business.
This role will operate in two capacities; to augment existing data solutions, as well as innovate and pioneer data strategy projects in the region, crafting analytic experiences that simplify data into insights and catalyze decision making. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications No single candidate will come in with all desired qualifications. Above all else, we’re looking for someone with an eagerness and ability to learn new skills and solve dynamic problems in a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment. Minimum of 8+ years of proven ability in data visualization, data science, or data analysis with a keen eye for design. Proven expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau, d3, plotly, etc., for data analysis and presentation. Experience with Tableau Server, TabPy, Extensions, and Tableau Prep is a plus. An appreciation of functional design or interested in developing your design aesthetic. Experience articulating and translating business questions into data solutions. Experience with SQL-based languages (experience with Teradata, Snowflake, and Dremio is desirable) Strong time management skills and eagerness to collaborate across multiple teams. Knowledge of best practices in data analysis, data visualization, and data science. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, constantly evolving business environment. Description Description Act as a data translator, bridging the gap in expertise between technical teams made up of data analysts, data engineers, software developers, and business partners. Successfully bridging analytics and business, with the ability to speak the language of both.
- Influence upstream data model design, drive Key Performance Indicator definitions and develop your own data solutions as needed.
- Summarize & communicate complex ideas/assumptions and present findings effectively using data and storytelling to a diverse set of partners.
- Build and support dashboards and self-service tools to analyze and present internal and external data.
- Conduct data exploration on datasets, QA/QC, visualization, statistical and data analyses. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
