As Production Supervisor, you will own the Production processes and be a role-model for your team members. You will report to the Production Manager.

From a people perspective, you will be tasked with ensuring that your team thrives, encouraging a welcoming team environment whilst also promoting positivity and engagement across the organisation. From a process perspective you will be responsible for ensuring that the processes successfully meet all deadlines and achieves all Production objectives. Further, your problem solving skills will be required to ensure we continuously improve and drive efficiency. Description Description PEOPLE LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, empower & develop a multi-skilled team to deliver production results and achieve personal goals.
- Promote engagement and innovation within your team, utilising clear communications in both group and one-to-one settings.
- Drive the hard conversations and lead your messaging to individuals to ensure everyone is meeting the high expectations we have for their roles and also adhering to the Production Norms and Standards.
- Lead by example and encourage your team’s participation in personal development initiatives and Inclusion & Diversity events.
- Learn key people management tools & processes to ensure all people related tasks are completed proactively and queries can be answered accurately.
- Continue to hone your leadership skills, including attending/hosting meetings, preparing communications that are relevant for the target audience, etc.
PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES, END-TO-END OWNERSHIP:
- End to end process ownership, including metrics such as yields, UPH, etc.
- Collaborate with partner teams to identify problems and drive solutions. Such solutions need to be realtime and data-driven, whilst also ensuring long-term sustainable improvement of your process.
- Ensure the reporting of all production activities are carried out accurately and in a timely fashion (example shift performance in the Oryx tools provided).
- Raise issues, when appropriate, and in a timely manner (for example, addressing downtime).
- Drive to close-out open actions with partner teams in an efficient manner.
- Develop and drive continuous improvement & process innovation initiatives which will improve the efficiency & effectiveness of your people and process while ensuring product quality is maintained.
- Proactively monitor the planned headcount for your process to ensure it is sufficient, proposing changes where required.
- Take an active role in ensuring a healthy and safe working environment by communicating, promoting and supervising safety rules and regulations and handling ongoing safety training.
- Ensure Housekeeping is maintained to a World Class standard. Education & Experience Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree or 3rd level degree preferable in Engineering, Business and/or Operations management.
- Post graduate qualification is preferred but relevant work experience will also be taken into consideration.
