Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Strong passion for quality assurance in software, including developing, extending and maintaining test plans, methodologies, as well as automation libraries. Knowledge in object oriented programming and software design skills, preferably in Java and/or Python. Knowledge in test methodologies ranging from functional unit tests to non-functional exploratory testing. Willingness to learn building automated UI and non-UI tests for user facing applications. Creative problem solver with a knack for building scalable solutions in a collaborative and cross-functional space Good communication skills. Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills. Less than 12 months of full-time work experience in the role you are applying for. Description Description Within IS&T, there are a variety of software quality engineering positions available across many different teams, ranging from special projects for new business initiatives to operations in a rapidly growing and dynamic setting. Early Career is for people with 12 months or less of relevant experience in their position and provides employees with the opportunity to build community amongst themselves by attending educational and social events.
You can expect to collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand product requirements and define test strategies, engage in test planning, test framework development. You will integrate automated tests into pipelines, ensuring that tests are run efficiently and consistently as part of the software development process.
This position will require balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. Your responsibilities will include design and implementation of test plans and test cases, risk analysis, multi-functional testing coordination, and integration testing across the system. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
