You will manage a global team of meeting professionals who are responsible for the management of the Strategic Meeting Management Program including meeting registration, hotel sourcing and contracting, attendee registration and logistics management. This high visibility role requires building and maintaining internal partnerships with important Autodesk stakeholders including Finance, Purchasing, Expense Management, A/P, Risk Management, Legal, Audit and C-Suite.You will report to the Senior Director, Global Travel & Meetings, and is responsible for Meeting Sourcing globally.This position can be fully remote, and is open to all locations in the United States.ResponsibilitiesOversee the development of the Global Meetings operational strategy (SMM Program), management, governance and implementation of all meeting program activities and proceduresEnsure process standardization and optimizationEnsure effective communication and expectation setting with internal customersManage and develop a team of 7 meeting professionals worldwideEngage with Legal, Finance and Purchasing functions to ensure alignment for payment, consistent contract terms and conditions and cost containment are maintainedBenchmark like company SMMP's and further develop Autodesk programPromote program globally, conducting sessions to educate employees and key stakeholders on departmental strategy, cost savings, policy and compliance objectivesProvide guidance for hotel sourcing Request for Proposals (RFP's), contracting and other key elements of meeting and event planningProvide oversight of Meeting Technologies used and ensure continuous process improvementEnsure most advantageous hotel contracts including risk mitigation and cost negotiationsAbility to analyze and interpret meetings data and related achieved/missed business opportunities and provide meaningful insights for Autodesk stakeholdersSolicit internal stakeholder feedback, implement improvement opportunities and measure successMinimum Qualifications10+ years' experience in global corporate meeting management environment20% global travel requiredCMP preferredThe Ideal Candidate Has a track record in Strategic Meetings Management globallyHas strong functional knowledge of meetings technologies, operations, tools and process managementHas managerial experience overseeing a global team with remote employees, including the ability to develop and maintain high-trust relationshipsHas exceptional communication and presentation skillsHas experience working within cross-functional teams to drive successHas a strong focus on improvement opportunitiesHas strong customer service orientation and problem resolution experienceTarget Salary Pay for Colorado: $165,000 - $175,000#LI-DW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,520. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
