Job Requisition ID #23WD73196Position OverviewAs a Technical Solutions Executive (TSE) at Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS), you will play an important role in the success of the organization. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will be a part of the ACS Named Accounts TSE team focusing on the Owners segment, collaborating with Global Named Account Sales Executives to boost revenue by assisting important customers from different industries. Your responsibilities include developing growth strategies, improving their capital planning programs, and building lasting relationships with customers. Your industry expertise enables you to identify customer needs, strategize, demonstrate value, and achieve positive outcomes. All of this takes place within a dynamic and collaborative Technical Sales organization.This position will be a remote role with travel of 35% per month.ResponsibilitiesAccount and Expansion Planning:Work with Autodesk Construction Solutions Named Accounts Sales Executives to create account-specific expansion plans, closing business deals, and exploring cross-product selling opportunitiesCollaborate with global account resources from ACS and WWS on account strategy and customer programsUse Autodesk's standardized sales methodologies to secure technical agreement on sales strategiesParticipate in account quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive briefings, aligning with important customer team membersCustomer Relationship Management:Develop an understanding of the customers' business processes, workflows, and technical requirements to establish trusted advisor relationshipsStay updated on industry trends and workflows within your expertise to provide insights about the value of Autodesk Construction CloudEnsure seamless handoffs between pre and post-sales teams for efficient customer supportDemonstrate Autodesk's expertise as a long-term solution providerTechnical Discovery & Solution Fit:Lead technical evaluation processes, providing guidance on requirement definitions, scoping documentation, and user need studiesFacilitate discovery workshops to uncover business issues and connect them to Autodesk solutionsDevelop solutions that meet technical, fiscal, and scheduling constraints within the customer's businessTechnical Closure:Collaborate with important customer partners to secure business and technical closure of proposed solutions within Autodesk Construction CloudManage technical evaluations, define solutions architecture, and facilitate product demonstrations and pilot projectsValidate and assess the feasibility of proposed solutions, applying best practices to solve business problemsDocument pain points, technical decision criteria, and evaluation metrics in Salesforce and collaborative technologiesCollaboration:Foster trusted relationships with ACS and Autodesk Worldwide Sales (WWS) teamsWork with different business resources, such as sales management, deployment, adoption, and marketing, to coordinate product launches and strategiesOversee resources within Named Accounts, ensuring goal achievement and customer satisfactionInternal Leadership:Share best practices, competitive insights, and expertiseCollaborate with technical solutions teams and contribute to speaking engagements at trade shows and conferencesMaintain industry leadership by staying informed about technology trends and marketplace impactsInfluence in Industry Ecosystems:Build your personal and Autodesk brand through social media networksDeliver presentations and workshops to user groups and conferencesMinimum Qualifications5-8+ years of experience in the AEC industry and Owners segmentExperience with SaaS Technology and SalesA technology 'expert' who can easily distill complex workflows / solutions for different audiencesYou're an overall genuine person and team player who's proactive and passionate about moving the industry forward#LI-JG1#accjobsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $176,600 and $255,640. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
