Adobe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the next generation web application for Adobe Analytics, Adobe's industry-leading analytics platform. The Adobe Analytics platform processes 80+ billion transactions every single day and delivers reporting data to customers via a sophisticated data visualization interface. The Senior Software Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including the architecture, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the product. This position is based in our Lehi, UT offices within the Experience Cloud Business Unit of Adobe.Responsibilities:Full stack engineering in including writing and maintaining microservicesWrite proficient code in Java and / or GoUnderstand and use service APIs within our data retrieval platform that are used by a variety of client applicationsGather technical requirements from multiple sources and improve on existing strategy and techniques for visualizing and displaying dataTackle complex business and technical problems involving large-scale data aggregationYou’ll write reliable, sustainable code by utilizing design patterns and refactoring techniquesYou’ll be expected to craft very performant, high-quality features while ensuring quality through automated testing (unit, integration, e2e, and exploratory)Mentor developers with less experience by performing thorough and constructive code reviewsRequirements:BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or equivalent fieldMinimum 4+ years of relevant work experienceObject-oriented programming background, preferably in Java or GoJavaScript and CSS fundamentals and have composed applications in modern frameworks (such as React, Vue, Angular, etc.)Experience architecting software frameworks at scaleUnderstanding and use of RESTful web servicesFamiliar with running and maintaining applications in public clouds such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.Database programming knowledge including SQL queries and MySQL or MongoExperience with event streaming platforms such as KafkaBeing detail-oriented and self-motivated.Be open to constructive criticism in code reviews and willing to give kind feedback to othersComfortable working in a large software business where interpersonal skills are paramountOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
