We have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Development Manager to join our Adobe Analytics team based in Bucharest, who will be leading a team of developers.You will be responsible for taking specific product features through the entire life cycle, from requirement analysis to delivery, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company.As customers of Adobe Analytics focus on measuring and improving the full online/offline customer journey of their consumers, the need for resolving many identities to a common ID that spans all channels has become a core focus area for Adobe Analytics.Together with your team and in partnership with Product and Program managers you will have the opportunity to drive the implementation of new solutions that will address key business opportunities that align with fundamental customer problems. You must be passionate about web technologies and with a strong background in SaaS architectures as the projects revolve around hosted services and solutions with a big focus on delivering and maintaining high SLA for all products.As a people manager, you will have to recruit and mentor people to make them part of your team, keep your direct reports motivated, review the performance of the team members, and participate in management-related activities in Adobe Romania. What you'll do:Lead an agile, highly collaborative, and passionate team working on new product developmentWork closely with US and Romanian team members (Engineering, SREs, Product Managers, Program Managers, etc.) to define features and priorities, build and maintain project plans and schedulesInspect team progress and provide regular feedback, anticipating and overcoming potential conflicts and roadblocksReview and contribute to architectural decisions and feature specificationsGrow the team: mentor by providing knowledge and expertise, setting goals, and reviewing their performanceInspire team members, ensuring that team dynamics continue to be healthy and that team cohesion is highDevelop and improve the development process to optimize the team’s efficiency and effectivenessStay in touch with the latest technologies and trendsHave a close collaboration with internal and external customers and use their feedback to guide project decisionsPreferred qualifications: Experience with new product developmentExperience leading cross-functional teams is a plusKnowledge of agile development practicesExperience with online marketingExperience with managing hosted services and operations (SaaS model)Ability to quickly prioritize, and an acute sense of urgencyAbility to understand business context and requirements, strong customer focusPassion for software development and knowledge of software development methodologiesAble to empower, inspire, and grow team membersTop-notch communication skills, able to be credible and convincing in a simple phone conversation in English, able to deliver short but high-impact presentations and pitchesFluent in English (both written and spoken)As our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you’ll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
