Deal AnalystDescription -Job Title: Deal Analyst Job Description:Responsible for managing the special pricing approval process in Japan PC & PrintResponsible for ensuring Greater Asia & Global management approvals are received for special pricing deals by liaising with Greater Asia & Global business/finance leadershipWorks closely with PC & Print sales & category team to align with Japan category strategyAnalyze deal & cost data to support right strategy & decisions to enable business for Japan PPS business leadershipResponsible for compliance to all HP processes & policies for special pricing activityAlign with Asia Market DPC management on initiatives to drive improvements for margin improvement and process efficiencyResponsible for setting and monitoring SLA for Japan special pricing approvalFocus on End-to-End value chain for special pricing process and working closely with other functions/teams across the E2E value chain (for e.g. Fukuoka Contact Center / Sales Operations etc.)Team management for the team of individual contributors (Contract staff) and outsourced membersResponsible for workforce planning and workload balancing.Qualifications Required:First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Typically 10+ years of experience in a business related function, preferably business planning, sales operations, category, finance or sales.Typically 3+ years of people management experience.Very good understanding of the PC/Printer business & customer dynamics so as to be able to position oneself in the shoes of the sales rep while evaluating dealsShould  be a self-starter to drive initiatives proactivelyBalance of business and finance acumenExcellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) to develop relationships across businesses.
