The Workplace Architectural Planner will be reporting to the Senior Workplace Design Program Manager under the Real Estate & Site Services (RESS) Group. This function is within the Workplace Planning and Design Team, and it will support all RESS teams with interior space planning and management of our drawing updates and archive.What you will be doingArchitectural and Furniture Space Planning – Assist the Workplace Design team, Occupancy Planning team, Facility Operations team or other RESS teams during exploration phase of spatial modifications to existing facilities.As built drawing archive management – Keeping all our floor plans current and up to date in our archive is one of our top priorities for this function. The Workplace Architectural Planner is responsible for assembling and incorporating recently completed projects for upload to Serraview. Conduct weekly audits of campus floors and identify discrepancies for updates. You will manage the protocols for drawing intake and external sharing while identifying ways to improve the overall process.Project close-out package management - Work with internal and external project managers responsible for our RESS construction projects to ensure the receipt of the Project Close-Out packages which include drawings from all the construction trades. Update the archived drawings accordingly with the information received in the Project Close-Out packages.Assist NVIDIA office managers with evacuation map updates and manage the archive.Partner with the MAC (Move, Add and Change) team to support space audits in Santa Clara prior to people move, furniture move, new hire setup or FlexDesk set up.Support the CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) team with CAD drawing updates.What we need to seeA bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, MEP design or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in commercial architectural/interior design construction projects (experience with high tech companies is a plus).Extensive experience with AutoCAD is critical. Overall experience with MS office suite, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, and Illustrator is required. Experience with Revit is a plus.Proficient in current local and federal building code, ADA requirements and BOMA measurements.Ability to read and understand MEP drawings is required.Highly responsive to all requests and proactive approach to problem solving in a collaborative manner.Demonstrate superior skills in organization, process improvement while multi-tasking within constrained time limits.Good verbal, graphic and written communication skills.A confident individual with integrity and accountability.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers; we have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us and, due to unparalleled growth, best-in-class teams are rapidly growing!
