This position will report to Lease Accounting Manager and work with cross functional teams.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the accounting of all leasing transactions in compliance with regulatory reporting requirement, including US GAAP, IFRS, company policies and internal control standards.Utilize Lucernex, a lease administration and accounting system, to set up and generate accounting entries.Participate in the month end close activities.Flux Analysis of lease accountsPrepare journal entries and BS reconciliationAssist with auditUpdate quarterly lease disclosures and controlsAd-Hoc Reporting and AnalysisSpecial projects as required.QualificationsMinimum of 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance functionsKnowledge of US GAAP or local accounting standardStrong attention to details and the ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision and within tight deadlines in the fast-paced environmentExperienced with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Cloud, R12 or other ERP systems preferredStrong Microsoft Excel skillsStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenSelf-starter and team player with a positive attitudeBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
