This is a remote-based position responsible for driving business within the Canada and International regions. As such, we prefer for candidates to live in Canada. We are looking for an inspiring Sales Leader to lead a newly created team of Regional Account Executives. This team is responsible for generating revenue from an existing territory base as well as prospecting to grow our business through new account acquisition. We are seeking a proven sales leader who will lead growth initiatives within the evolving inside sales organization.Responsibilities and Duties:Lead virtual sales team with prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing new opportunities.Lead and influence team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual team targets by generating sales pipeline, accelerating active opportunities and driving to close.Leverage sales leadership experience to coach, develop and motivate the team as they grow as sales professionals.Develop sales plans and strategies for assigned territories and influence the strategy aligned with the business objectives of our customers and prospects.Partner closely with field sales teams coordinating for territory coverage, workload management and shared quota attainment.Work closely with company leadership to select, evaluate, and recruit new sales talent.Lead a team of virtual small market representatives in prospecting and demand generation through both out-bound and in-bound campaigns.Continually assess and optimize the demand generation process by working with our Marketing team to maximize new opportunity yield.Accurately forecast and assess risk during pipeline reviews with senior leadership.Report on monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and deliver competitive business insights, trends and analysis to drive ongoing performance improvements.Ensure sales best practices are applied to support high velocity sales cycles, and high quality, sales performance.Own the lead and opportunity reporting process.Work with Customer Management Team (Order Management and Customer Operations) to create a seamless customer experience after deal closure.Maintain and grow business relationships and advocate for the customer and prospects.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading a distributed Inside Sales or virtual sales team with a proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving strategic goals.Inside sales experience as an individual contributor or Sales Manager.Demonstrated ability to manage through change, deal with ambiguity and collaborate across teams.Possess a positive attitude and have an aggressive desire for results.Superior interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to coach team to progress sales by phone, email, or video.Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles and ownership of all aspects of territory management.Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external.Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Able to recognize program or process gaps and opportunities, create a solution and lead others through change.At least 15% travel required.Must have a valid driver's license.Location:Remote-based position located in the Canada and North Central US regions, with preference to live in Canada.#LI-Remote
