WHY BOX NEEDS YOU  We are looking for a Privacy Incident Analyst that will join the Privacy Program organization, which manages and governs all privacy legal and compliance work that impact’s Box’s products and services globally. You will have a critical role in operations, risk assessments and the initial analysis of privacy incidents and protecting our customers and personnel. This roles requires flexibility and timeliness in providing your initial assessment of a potential privacy incidents throughout the full incident response lifecycle. You’ll need to be accustomed to being a team player and working collaboratively across stakeholder groups that may also be located in different time zones. You will be empowered to work with others to bring about meaningful advancements in the incident response process and related policies to ensure Box remains best-in-class in privacy and data protection. WHAT YOU'LL DO Work closely with global, cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including Product, Legal, Engineering, Security, Data Analytics, Security Incident Response Team, and Product Security Incident Response Team, among others Serve as primary point of contact for incidents that may impact the privacy of personal data as it relates to Box, its customers, employees and third-party service providers Issue spot, collect applicable key data and ensure the ongoing operations and review of potential privacy incidents Escalate and report to appropriate stakeholders within legal and respond to inquiries Maintain understanding of incident response matters and related notification obligations Identify opportunities to improve internal incident processes and procedures to reduce risk Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes WHO YOU ARE Required skills: Minimum of 1 year of experience in privacy generally or security/privacy incident response, including but not limited to: 1) supporting the incident intake process, 2) performing initial risk assessments, and 3) providing input on incident response Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Skills:   Prior experience or knowledge of incident/breach notification regulations, such as US federal, state, and local privacy laws, and EU/UK data protection laws Experience working with technical security, compliance, engineering and legal teams Experience in risk control and crisis management/support Certification(s): International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CIPP/EU, CIPP/US and/or CIPM Head-over-heels about this role — but not sure you meet all the requirements?
