ParsePort (A Workiva Company) is a SaaS solution provider for XBRL format financial reporting.The Product Manager - Parseport will assume the role of being the owner of one or more Parseport XBRL products, ensuring their value to customers. This role entails identifying customer needs and ensuring that our product offerings align with these requirements. The Product Manager will immerse themselves in both the technical intricacies of the Parseport XBRL product domain and the specific needs of our customers.In this capacity, the Product Manager - Parseport is expected to demonstrate proficiency across the entire product lifecycle, spanning from initial discovery to product delivery. This includes activities such as customer discovery, leadership of the product team, advocacy for the product, overseeing product management tasks (including work prioritization and creating release notes for product updates), and managing relationships with key stakeholders.As a new Product Manager at Parseport, you will receive training in XBRL and learn how to utilize the ParsePort platform to effectively support our customers' XBRL needs. While prior XBRL experience is beneficial, it is not a mandatory prerequisite, as we are equipped to provide the necessary skills and knowledge.Responsibilities: Product Discovery:Engages internal experts and customers to identify product opportunities.Collaborates with the product team, internal experts and customers to quickly iterate on possible solutions.Gathers and considers feedback from existing customers.Validate features throughout the development processExpertise and Documentation:Gains deep expertise in the product and related domains.Documents use cases and personas.Creates story maps and roadmaps.Product Management:Sets priorities and deadlines.Authors Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).Maintains a clear product vision and strategy.Partners with engineers and UX designers to scope solutions.Defines success criteria and monitors progress; Identifies and resolves potential problems.Stakeholder Management:Manages relationships with various stakeholders.Ensures the team understands the product's vision and strategy.Collaborates with the Product Management team for alignment.What You'll NeedAt Parseport, there are several key attributes we seek in all potential hires, regardless of their intended role or team.
