Key responsibilities include establishing a comprehensive capabilities and operating framework ensuring consistent quality and documentation to support our OKRs. Responsibilities Define and manage our DataOps Architecture and Operations practice Across RevOps we use various data tools, models and data sources (aka data warehouses) to extract valuable insights into Equinix’s business performance. These need to be understood and documented in partnership with our peers across RevOps TP&I Partner with IT and TP&I stakeholders to capture, document and maintain the architecture and operations processes in use today, their upstream and downstream impact, and their primary target audience/ users and stakeholders Work with the DataOps team to identify and evaluate areas for operational simplification, automation and innovation to enable these data models to work effectively and efficiently for the businessArchitect and enable access and integration with our data through API and services Align the business supply and preparation of business data to functional requirements Define and operate our data pipeline framework to serve our businessWorking with our stakeholders, IT business partners and TP&I teams, manage the intake and flow of data pipeline requirementsLead the weekly engagement with TP&I partners and IT to manage the intake request for data architecture and Operations to understand impact, value and effortSupport the effort with IA team and stakeholders to develop BRD (Business Requirement Documents) where DataOps support is neededDeliver and maintain the methodology and processes to operate with increased agility and cost transparency across IA and the IT functions for each DataOps product Support the continuous improvement and deployment of DataOps within the business Using AO best practices that ensure a shorter time to insights for the business and the ease of adaptation Enhance and standardize our data lineage capability across all data domains and systems. Define our governance for data. What it is, what’s in it, business rules, permissions and privacy standards. Work with SecOps, IT and other stakeholders to implement policies and processes to protect the data. Own and operate the Continuous Improvement/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process for DataOps that bring new business insights by allowing the rapid development and deployment of innovative, high quality data analytic pipelines Support the data intake requests, new data procurement/ investment requirements Building better engagements with Data Deliver continuous improvements to the IA Datamart to serve the business, aligning all sources of truth from CRM to billing, MDM and vendorsEnsure data quality and lineage through our operating frameworkWork with our Communications and Adoption team to promote use cases and data adoption/ usageStandardize our reporting metrics for data products across IA QualificationsDeep technical expertise in data management principles, architecture, governance, analytics, & emerging technologiesSkillful stakeholder management & communication to convey complex concepts to diverse internal teams & external partnersExperience with Data Integration & ETL, Data Quality, Cleansing and governing, Master Data Management, Data Cataloguing, and Data VisualizationBusiness Intelligence (BI) toolsEnthusiastic collaborator & communicator, skilled in driving the development of operational data capabilities & rigour cross-functionallyPrioritizes strategic requirements, roadmap, & impacts with stakeholdersStrong technical skills & passion for tooling & automation optimization'sExceptional written & communication skills, as well as data-driven storytelling with executive management experienceGlobal mindset, adept at working in matrix-driven environmentsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
