We're excited to continue this journey and invite you to be a part of our success!About the RoleWe're looking for an Analytics Engineer who is passionate about transforming vast data landscapes into compelling business insights. In our team, we work together to unravel and tackle unique business challenges using an impressive data scale that is rarely encountered. This role offers the chance to engage with a data warehouse of multi-petabyte scale, enhancing your expertise and delivering a significant contribution to the company's success. You'll be instrumental in maintaining data pipelines and collaborating across the company, all while using a diverse set of technologies.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines.Ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, scheduling, and preparation for analytics.Partner with domain experts across Workday.Apply an array of tools for data processing and analysis using Trino/Presto, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, Apache AirFlow, AWS RDS, MySQL/Postgresql, git, and more.Innovate and automate data models, influencing pipeline architecture.Engage with various teams to provide insightful, data-driven recommendations.About YouWe possess a keen interest in grasping the complex challenges that businesses face, and we're enthused by the prospect of devising data-driven solutions. Our inherent curiosity propels us to delve into data and decipher its core significance. Acquiring new tools and methods comes naturally to us. Becoming a part of our team is more than just accepting a job; it's embarking on a riveting adventure of discovering novel approaches to data exploration.Basic Qualifications:3 – 5 years experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Software Development, or Data ScienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science. Master's degree or advanced certification in Data Science or Analytics is a plus.Other Qualifications:Proficiency in SQL, experience with dbt, and crafting DBT/Jinja Macros.Skilled in a range of modern data stack (MDS) tools.Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques.At ease within the open-source environment.Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps practices is a bonus.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
