One of the key organizational principles of the group is the treatment of data and analytical assets as products with an agile methodology to support their continued development. Each data product will have a dedicated cross-functional Fusion Team to drive data onboarding, security, discovery, transformation, and analytics to create value in line with the business priorities. Each team will have a Product Owner, who works with the business to create and prioritize a backlog of analytical needs and work with the team to help them achieve the outcome. Each pod will also have a Scrum Master, who will manage the agile execution of the work across governance, quality, analytics, and dev ops teams to ensure the overall speed and quality of analytics deliverables.About the RoleWhile Agile Methodology is not new to Workday, the incorporation of Agile into Analytics projects is. As such, this Agile leader will help to define the approach and methodologies that will be followed as part of our new Data Product framework, from templates to tools to the vocabulary that we will use. This Senior Scrum Master will also act as a scrum master for one of the three Data Products that are part of the initial team launch as a model for how the processes will work. In particular, we are looking for this leader to model how we scrum, how we collaborate, how we document, and how we move with speed and purpose to deliver analytical insights that delight our internal stakeholders. It also means aligning with the technology team for systematically improving the tools and methodologies that we employ towards a more and more automated delivery framework.If you are a change agent, and have experience standing up first-of-a-kind business agile product management processes, Lets Talk! Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
