As an intern specializing in PC communication and Data Analysis, you will play a crucial role in extracting machine data to an external data system and setting up Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring charts for abnormality detection. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in the field and contribute to our cutting-edge projects.Machine-to-PC Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels between machine and PC, enabling seamless data exchange.Data Extraction: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) machine-generated data into an external data system or database.Data Analysis: Analyze machine data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.SPC Monitoring Chart Setup: Create and implement SPC monitoring charts to detect abnormalities and variations in the production process.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integration and alignment with project objectives.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Knowledge of machine-to-machine communication protocols and data transfer methods.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.Familiarity with data extraction tools and techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Able to commit 6-9 months full-time for the internship.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
