Repair and Maintenance Technical SpecialistDescription -What a Technical Specialist does in HP:Support the Manufacturing activities, including routing operational maintenance and repairs, new machine installation and set-up, validation and qualification phase of the Plant in Singapore.Support the Lab testing requirements of Manufacturing activities, including raw materials and finished goods testing, new machine installation and set-up, validation and qualification phase of the Ink Plant ToPerform certification in areas of Equipment operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and calibration.Provide Day-to-Day operational in the manufacturing processes through dismantling, adjustments, repairs of equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals for troubleshooting or parts replacementSupport to all in-process and incoming material testing activities in the manufacturing processes through use of the lab testing techniquesDemonstrate capability to support characterization of material composition and performance analysis for product research & development purposes, troubleshoot root causes of reliability issues, and recommend and implement corrective or preventive actionsLead equipment reliability programs to improve equipment uptimeProactively practice and adhere to EHS and relevant safety protocols, GMP and other applicable ISO standards to ensure continual compliance to all procedures and processes.Collaborate effectively with QC, Reliability, Analytical and Print lab teams to always maintain the excellent quality in products.Work closely with process and product engineers on the product qualification, testing and approvals as pre-requisite for Manufacturing Release.Collaborate with other operational sites to achieve cost, quality, availability and reliability metrics.Individuals who will do will in this role in HP, usually posses:Minimally a, Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical or Mechanical or prior work experience in Chemical based industry will be an advantage.Experienced in working with equipment like Ion Chromatography, ICP-OES, Particle Sizer, Tensiometer, Rheometers, Viscometer, UV Absorbance, Titrators etc.Able to work 12 hours rotating shift and overtime if required.Prior experience in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or chemical manufacturing will be an added advantage, including working knowledge of EHS, GMP and PPE requirements, Safe Chemical Handling practices and ISO quality and procedures, will be an advantage.
