Cash Initiatives DirectorDescription -The Global Finance Director will be responsible for leading the development of financial strategies and policies to ensure the stability of the company’s finances. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership abilities, be passionate about building field-shaping global collections and services, and have demonstrated managerial/tactical strengths developed through deep experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCollections Leadership: Lead, develop, and execute collections strategies to maximize cash flow, reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and minimize bad debt exposure.Team Management: Manage a large, global team of collections professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to ensure peak performance.Transformation: Drive the transformation of the collections function, implementing best practices, process improvements, and automation to enhance efficiency.Financial Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of financial principles, KPIs, and metrics to effectively monitor and improve cash collection performance.Influence Senior Leadership: Collaborate with senior executives to align collections strategies with overall business objectives and present clear, data-driven recommendations.Motivation: Inspire and motivate the collections team to meet and exceed performance targets while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and finance departments, to facilitate efficient cash collection processes.Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular and ad-hoc reports on collections performance, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
