Sr. Contracts Review Specialist (contractor) Alphen aan den Rijn 40hours/weekStatus: Salaried (Exempt)Department: ElectrolyzersPosition SummaryThe Sr. Contracts Review Specialist will review and recommend terms and conditions on contracts in order to reduce company liability or cost. The Sr. Contracts Review Specialist will serve as a liaison between Plug Power and their employees, customers, and vendors as the main facilitator for contract review, recommendations, record keeping, monitoring, and change management. You will collaborate with the Legal, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations sections of the Company. This is a full-time position.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview customer contracts and advise management of contractual rights and obligations to protect and mitigate the organization's legal and business interests.Prepare the terms, conditions, and assumptions for customer proposals, review technical and pricing detail for accuracy and consistency, and conduct business risk analysis as needed.Collaborate with legal team to evaluate bids, contracts, terms, and other legal documents.Assist in compiling and analyzing data, and in maintaining historical customer and contract information to ensure ease of accessibility and retrieval of data and documents.Serve as the key point of contact between Plug Power and third parties to ensure timely review and approval of any contract variations.Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency.Strong time management/prioritization skills.Strong written English language skills.Excellent attention to detail.Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.Perform all other duties as assigned.Exempt employees are expected to work as many hours as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.  This may require they work more than eight hours a day and more than five days or 40 hours per week.  Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in law or relevant field of study.10+ years relevant work history within a commercial function; preferably as part of a manufacturing or energy environment.Background in Australian law is a pre.In-depth knowledge of current procurement regulations, legal terminology, and contract documents.Ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for problems, customer complaints, and client concerns.Must be a self-starting, motivated, assertive, and creative individual with excellent follow-through capabilities.Superior verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.Plug Power, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
