Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:The Sr. Director, Global Commissions, Strategy, Planning & Operations position is a key leadership role reporting to the VP Global Controller, who will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of sales commissions along with providing critical input and guidance around the design and strategy of sales compensation plans. The role requires collaborative leadership skills and the ability to set vision and direction for a critical segment of the Sales organization. The ideal candidate is able to lead, plan, and execute through complex situations, scenarios, and dynamic market conditions, where business objectives and strategy will guide theirs and their team’s work.What You'll Do: •Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders within the company and develops strategic, senior level relationships with partners/vendors on behalf of their functional area.•Provides input into the sales operations, sales compensation plan design, quota setting process and is accountable for the sales compensation administration.•Participates in regular core team and steering committee meetings for sales compensation plan design, administration and reporting. •Responsible for nurturing career development, managing performance, skill training, and pay discussions within their organization.•Manage the commission operations process for 2000+ sales employees in a rapidly growing and dynamic sales organization via a global Commissions team supported by a dedicated Xactly IT systems professional.•Understand and apply the commission plans and policies consistently and provide expertise, support and training to the Commissions team.•Review, validate and audit monthly reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of commissions crediting and payout results.•Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving calculation and/or data errors within Xactly Incent.•Via subordinate team members, ensure that the response to compensation related inquiries from the Sales Team is managed in an effective and timely manner.•Oversee management of Sales Promotion, bonus and SPIFF payments.•Oversee preparation of key monthly commission reconciliation reports including reporting of monthly commission and sales attainment metrics.•Proactively identify, develop, and implement process improvements, documenting desktop procedures to achieve efficiencies and scalability.•Perform configuration, testing and other support activities related to plan, quota, and policy changes as needed.What You’ll Need:•Bachelor or higher degree is preferred.•Demonstrated experience with SaaS based compensation plan structures, procedures and key metrics in a SaaS environment.•12+ years of progressive experience managing commission processes for a high growth sales team.•2+ Years Xactly Incent experience required.Implementation experience is a plus.•Experience in SalesForce.com environments.•Understanding of Commission Expense Accounting and exposure to Sarbanes Oxley compliant processes.#LI-MJ1#LI-REMOTEBenefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangements Comprehensive and inclusive health benefitsPhysical and mental wellness programsPaid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $190,000 - $280,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
