We develop HV and RTOS with a strong focus on automotive quality, safety and security needed for the real-time, highly-available system level components of world-class Autonomous Vehicles. We are hiring now for the position of Senior System Software Engineer to help us implement software architecture to maintain various architecture and SoC ports, scaling from small offload RISC-V cores up to many-core large-scale embedded computing platforms. What you’ll be doing:Develop NVIDIA homegrown Hypervisor and RTOS for high integrity systems.Develop and maintain Hypervisor and RTOS driver development framework and porting layerArchitect Hypervisor and RTOS software to support multiple platforms and deploymentsWork closely with NVIDIA hardware teams to support Hypervisor and RTOS needsInfluence and align NVIDIA SoC and HV/RTOS Software architectures with evolving industry standards.What we need to see:BS, MS in CS/CE/EE or a related engineering field or equivalent experience10+ years experienceDeep understanding of Operating System internals, processor architecturesProficiency in C/C++Proven track record in developing device drivers, libraries and firmwareExperience in building complex systems with multiple threads, CPUs, accelerators and chipsStrong understanding of software quality processClear, concise communication skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience with RTOS kernel developmentKnowledge of RISC-V, Arm architecturesBackground with Hypervisor and Virtualization technologiesKnowledge of Automotive quality standards, ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434Hands-on experience formal verification methods and tools, such as Ada/SPARK and TLA+NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
