As the Director, Sales Program Development you will lead the Rialto Sales team and partners with the Books Business Unit and the Sales teams in the region to achieve the sales goals and the strategic priorities of the business.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelors’ degree or higher in related fieldAt least 12 years’ related sales experienceExperience negotiating large contracts while coordinating closely with legal counsel and senior management.Experience in financial modeling and analysis, particularly sales forecasting.It would be great if you also have . . . Master’s degree in related field.Experience selling in the academic market.Experience utilizing Salesforce.com.What will you be doing in this role?Drive customer acquisition, client retention and market expansion for the Rialto product.Collaborate with leaders in Sales and the Books organization to help identify, develop, and prioritize strategy initiatives for the region.Scope and implement initiatives that directly support Rialto’s go-to-market strategy and objectives.Develop and lead strategic sales initiatives related to Rialto in the region.In conjunction with the sales leadership team, manages major business relationships to maximize revenue, billing, and business opportunities. Assists with negotiations as appropriate.Develop operating and strategic plans, monthly revenue forecasts, territory design, and resource planning for sales of products in all stages of lifecycle.Oversee Product Sales Managers and Content and Workflow Strategy Consultants in developing and sustaining key relationships to maximize revenue and business opportunities, participating in negotiation process as appropriate.Hire, motivate, manage, and develop a team of sales professionals.Drive execution of key strategic initiatives, working closely with product, project and regional sales teams to develop and execute strategic and operational plans and set up appropriate governance structure to ensure implementation and performance matrixes.Lead development of best practices and processes; facilitates adoption across the regional Product sales team.Actively participates in or leads regional sales meetings; participates in strategic planning & sales leadership meetings.About the TeamBuilt on the Ex Libris Higher-Ed cloud platform, Rialto creates a seamless, unified, and end-to-end library workflow from requests and searches to selection, acquisition, and discovery.Hours of WorkFrequent travel, including some international travel, is required.This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.Clarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
