Business intelligence or SAAS sales experience in the IP industryExperience in business development and seeking growth opportunities.Experience working with end customers and local resellers & distributorsExisting knowledge of Clarivate products/services and their competitors is a distinct advantageWhat will you be doing in this role?Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to maximize sales and revenue growthLead a team of regional sales managers to achieve new sales and business retention targetsPartner with internal colleagues for new account acquisition, revenue retention and growthManage use of sales tracking tools to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; review pipeline accuracy and shape, prospecting activities and progress of individual opportunitiesOversee and participate in RFP’s, proposals and major client / prospect presentationsGroom the new business consultative selling skills of the team through regular feedback and trainingEffectively manage individuals to peak performance in new sales, revenue growth and share gain versus competitorsInitiate regular sales visits to provide appropriate coverage of prospects or clientsOptimize communication and interaction with key internal stakeholdersParticipate in cross functional sales management team to enhance the sales infrastructure, develop procedures and structure commission plans needed to achieve growth expectationsAbout the Team In the IP division, accelerate innovation is at the core of what we do.
