This is an exciting opportunity to work on our Quality/Testing team ensuring the highest quality law content is delivered to our customers. This team member will utilize their intellectual property expertise to participate in the definition, execution, and documentation of testing strategies as well as the holistic review of implemented configuration changes.  About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments   Post-graduate degree in Law or Information Technology5+ years of experience in the intellectual property fieldIt would be great if you also had . . .   Experience in IP Management Software, ideally, Foundation IP, Inprotech or MemotechExperience analyzing data and creating advanced data queriesProficiency in Microsoft Office products and other tools that may be required for day-to-day work.Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate law changes into technical requirements accompanied by easily understood end-user documentation; well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills.Good investigative & analytical skills as well as the ability to quickly respond to changes.Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment; flexibility, attention to detail, and a good team player.  What will you be doing in this role?   Dedicated focus on utilizing requirement specifications to define comprehensive test plans and ensure implementation accuracy, inclusive of scenario variances consistent with end-user docketing practices.Perform thorough quality checks on the Portfolio Management systems including configuration consistency review and the identification of data anomalies in the rule configurations.Evaluate the end-user experience for law changes implemented across the Portfolio Management systems ensuring a consistent implementation approach wherever possible.Define and execute test plans by entering end-user scenarios in Portfolio Management systems.  Track and report results.Fluid communication and collaboration with the implementation analysts regarding observations and findings.Assist in the gathering and reporting of post-production issues.  Coordinate and participate in Lessons Learned discussions for Portfolio Management systems.    Maintain and enhance documentation and best practices on testing and quality assurance processes.About the Team   Our team is responsible for providing recurring releases of IP law updates to our clients containing configuration to calculate deadlines for new laws or law changes.  The main purpose of this role is to define and test scenarios for new or modified intellectual property laws in Clarivate’s IP Management Software Systems ensuring the highest quality content is delivered to our customers. Subsequently, the law update content is published to customers including release notes and other related documentation enabling Clarivate customers to keep their IP portfolio up to date.
