Job Summary:Title: Intern – TV & Film (In-Person, Unpaid, For College Credit)Location: New York, NY (On-Site)The Role:Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment industry. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to sourcing materials, conceptualizing ideas and research and development. The internship offers exciting hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain new skills. Areas that you will be learning about:Assist in researching top streaming platforms, mini series, tv shows, short films documentaries and narrativesKeeping a pulse on industry and social trends and be proactive in observing interactions with influencers, bloggers, and mediaSupport the TV & Film team on presentation buildouts, including consolidating pitch decks and sort them in to a digital trackerAssist in the program content development for the festival partnersParticipate in digest meetings including distributing agenda and taking minutes/notes/statisticsPrepare event space for visiting guests to ensure smooth experienceAssist with partner acknowledgement and follow-up Qualifications:Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPassionate about Film, TV, Media & EntertainmentWorking knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe PremiereProficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, emphasis on MS Excel skillsThis internship is available for the Spring semester.
