We are strongly guided by our company core values; specifically focusing on fun, our customers and employees, and innovation.About the RoleWe’re seeking a high-energy and highly organized Event Program Manager to join Workday’s sports marketing team, designing and delivering unique, white glove events that leverage our sponsored sporting experiences to showcase Workday’s business solutions and deepen customer and prospective customer relationships.In this new role you will be an integral part of Workday’s Sports Marketing team and will coordinate closely with the broader Corporate Marketing team to help strategize and execute every aspect of our sponsored and owned sporting events. You’ll leverage our sports marketing partnerships and corporate relationships to produce high-touch, exceptional, one-of-a-kind experiences that helps facilitate engagement with executives from our most strategic accounts.The successful candidate will combine a flair for designing creative, money-can’t-buy programs for C-level audiences while maintaining budgets, a pragmatic can-do attitude, a dedicated work ethic and a relentless positive attitude. Like our technology, innovation is key when planning our events. We’ll be working with some of the world’s premier sports organizations to tell our story.About YouBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in hospitality or related field.4+ years’ experience designing and delivering C-level executive event and hospitality programsOther QualificationsExpert negotiator and problem-solver; outstanding communication skillsExperience executing event strategy to achieve positive business outcomesAble to nurture collaboration and facilitate discussions among cross-functional teams to drive progress on variety of projects and programs. Must be comfortable and effective dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels, particularly senior executivesMust excel at navigating and collaborating with teammates across large, complex organizationsThis is a highly collaborative team – a successful candidate will be both pragmatic and creative but also direct to push planning forward.An independent, self-starter that is able to clearly establish processes and event plans.Workday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
