This is a remote position that could be based in anywhere in the United States or Canada.The Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is responsible for the administrative, functional, and technical activities required to support reporting, integrations, customizations, and extensions for business operations on Oracle Cloud. This role is accountable for the team that delivers business value from IaaS and PaaS provided by OCI. This person manages the strategy and security of Calix’s OCI architecture in addition to the people responsible for the stability, effectiveness, and efficiency of solutions built on OCI services.The Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure leads offshore resources to support Calix global business teams. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support period close activities, non-production refreshes, patches, and upgrades when needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing an Oracle team in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant company that operates internationally.The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. Not only will they build and develop their teams, but they will also need to be hands-on, self-motivated and take the initiative to solve problems, automate manual effort and continuously improve.Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for functional, and technical activities required to support Supply Chain business operations on Oracle Cloud.Accountable for the teams that deliver business value from Oracle SCM Cloud applications and infrastructure.Architect end to end solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS), Oracle BI, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) applications.Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT processes and data integration routines using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ODI, and Oracle Golden Gate.Solution requests for new OACS reports and dashboards from business teams.Perform root cause analysis for OACS issues, tune report queries and develop permanent code fixes.Coordinate change and testing activities with other Oracle development team members.Ensure adherence to Calix’s change management and governance principles.Maximize end to end process automation with OIC integrations.Build, test, automate, and support the migration of workloads to OCI.Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders.Collaborate with executives, peers, and team members and other application owners.Facilitate working sessions with business and technical teams.Support business transformation through continuous system improvement.Lead a team of talented professionals to deliver reliable systems and solutions.Manage a global workforce of employees and supplier resources.Plan and communicate system patches, refreshes, and upgrades to all teams.Oversee Oracle Service Request management and escalate priority issues.Ensure SOX compliance by managing controls and facilitating audits.Travel up to 10% for in-person collaboration and leadership events.Qualifications:10+ years of experience managing a team of Oracle professionals.3+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (DBaaS, Iaas, and PaaS)3+ years of experience working with OACS and Oracle BI2+ years of experience in Oracle integration technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Service Oriented Architecture Cloud Service (SOA CS), Java, JavaScript, etc.1+ years of hands-on development and administration experience with the following technologies:BI Publisher (BIP)Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Java, Oracle Java Cloud Service (JCS/ JCS-SX)Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) in a SAAS environmentOracle Universal Content Management (UCM)Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS)PL/SQL Development and query tuningSolid understanding of OCI technical architectureExperience supporting end to end business processes (Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Return to Repair)Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud.Experience with Analytics Cloud, Integration Cloud Service, and SOA Suite Cloud Service.Experience working with multiple currencies in the Quote to Cash process.Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (DBaaS, IaaS, and PaaS).Experience working with multiple currencies in the Quote to Cash process.Experience with Vertex or similar tax calculation solutions that integrate with Oracle Fusion.Experience with RF Smart or similar barcode technology that integrates with Oracle Fusion.Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar.Experience working with Oracle SupportPreferred: Oracle Cloud Certification.Location:Remote-based position located in the United States or Canada.#LI-RemoteCompensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States.
