About the Role:
As Associate, Standards and Practices, Commercial Clearance you will review advertisements and promotional content for compliance with Tubi’s advertising standards and applicable laws and regulations. Tubi’s Standards & Practices team works closely and cross-functionally with the Sales, Content Operations, and Legal teams to ensure consistent adherence to Tubi’s policies and practices. You will also be expected to learn Tubi’s standards and practices and industry best practices, for scripted content.
This position reports to our Director of Standards and Practices.
Responsibilities:
Learn and implement Tubi’s Standards and Practices policies for advertising content
Review advertising content to ensure compliance with policies
Evaluate and substantiate marketing, scientific, and other data submitted by advertisers
Coordinate with Sales Operations and Ad Sales teams to ensure proper socialization of ad restrictions and relevant information
Provide administrative and coordinative support to the S&P team
Use internal tools to socialize findings to ensure that policies are consistently implemented
Highlight policy issues that require further analysis
Assist in improving operational workstreams by identifying challenges and offering solutions, indulging improvements to existing guidelines
Remain updated about the latest streaming industry trends, including conducting analyses of competing streamers’ advertising and content Standards and Practices policies
Learn how to review original and acquired scripted and unscripted content at all stages of production
Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
1+ years of production or advertising/marketing experience
A willingness to review all types of content and apply Tubi and legal standards without regard to personal beliefs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to communicate effectively with various internal teams, colleagues, managers, producers, and advertisers
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
Must have superior organizational skills
Able to work under pressure
Must have good judgment and the ability to discern when to elevate matters to managers
Must have computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, G-suite, databases, and web browsing
Ability to read and understand Spanish is desirable, but not required
A self-starter, able to organize and complete tasks without heavy management oversight
