Your potential is waiting; why are you?Job Title: North America OM ManagerDepartment & Team: Global Order ManagementReports to: Global OM Manager/Sr. ManagerLocation: Virtual, USThe North America OM Manager will be responsible for managing a team of regional Order Management Leads (for the Americas) for one of the largest private B2B software companies. This position will also be responsible for managing strategic initiatives leading to the improvement and globalization of Order Management’s strategy and processes. This will include partnering with cross-functional teams to create and execute a more stable, scalable order management and billing process through project management, root cause analysis, and strategy implementation.   Responsibilities:Continuous ImprovementPerform analysis of Order Management business processes and applicationsIdentify areas for improvement, either through system enhancements, reporting, revised workflow and/or user training to facilitate improved and more efficient performance.Act as change lead to present proposed changes and provide key metrics to support recommendations.Bring insights into reporting streams and stakeholder discussions to devise and implement improvement plans.Standards ControlsCreate and manage project plans:Monitor and review project progress and timelinesAdjust schedules and plans as neededIdentify and resolve issues to ensure project successEffectively plan, organize, and direct the completion of large, complex projects while managing risks and issues to minimize scope, budget, and schedule impactsPolicies/ProceduresCollaborate globally and cross-functionally with various partners across different business functions to understand business processesFacilitate communication across disciplines for multiple projects and accounts to create alignment and efficienciesParticipate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication, and change managementProcessIdentify issue root cause(s), develop business case justifications, obtain stakeholder alignment, and recommend prioritization of solutionsGuide projects from pitch to completion by facilitating team productivity, managing client expectations, and providing a layer of communication between teams and stakeholdersPeopleProactively build strong, trusted working relationships with Finance functional leaders and Business Technology partners to drive alignment and optimate project operationsOrchestrate and lead program content, events, and community strategyAbility to effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate the team to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellencePerformanceLeverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvementsCommunicate project strategy, updates, escalation of risks/issues to multiple levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the organizationPredict roadblocks and obstacles and prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions, while proactively raising issues for the team before they become a problemPerform ad hoc, deep dive analysis as needed to develop recommendations and impact the decision-making of OM LeadershipQualifications/Requirements:5+ years’ experience in OM / OTC environment including managerial positions of increasing responsibilities, ideally in a Global Process Owner positionExperience with Salesforce.com and NetSuiteSoftware or Technology industry preferredAdvanced skill sets in critical thinking, time management, strategizing, and transformationEducation or CertificationDegree in Accounting, Finance or related field required or equivalent in work experienceProject Management certification(s) a plusDesired CharacteristicsA proactive, analytical, and process driven way of being—with a focus on understanding and exceeding the expectations of the internal/external customerProven ability to implement business process changes to improve operating efficienciesProcess improvement, system implementation, and project management skills to innovate, deliver solutions, and contribute to global transformation projects that impact the results of the companyHistory of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job doneOutstanding and effective interpersonal skills along with strong communication skills both verbal and written to interface with all levels of organizationAbility to manage and communicate with remote teams during non-traditional business hoursHigh Emotional Intelligence (EQ) specifically being a great active listener and communicator, who can convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbal and in writing to various levels of leadership#LI-Remote#LI-DJ1Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
