Your potential is waiting; why are you?Job descriptionSIP Feature Server is one of key components in Genesys SIP solution with several key features like Voicemail, which offers group mailboxes and personal mailboxes (exclusively for Genesys SIP-based agents) and Device Management, which enables provisioning, configuration, and deployment of SIP desk phones from Polycom, AudioCodes and Yealink. Also, another key functionality Dial Plan provides digit normalization and manipulation, trunk selection, and telephone calling features such as call forwarding. SIP Feature Server offers a distributed and scalable architecture with local high availability and redundancy across multiple data centers.Required skills and experience: Technical/Computer Science or Engineering Graduate preferred.Previous experience working in software engineering domain (5 – 6 years)Knowledge of programming languages (Core Java) (Primary)Knowledge of Spring framework and Spring Boot (Primary)Knowledge of working with any one DB (Cassandra, SQL) (Secondary)Knowledge of OOPS concepts and Design PatternsDocker & Containerization expertise (Secondary)Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or Github actionsMonitoring using PrometheusExperience with Cloud Environment (AWS, Azure or GCP)Ability to learn new languages and technologiesGood communication skillsWhat you will do:Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.Integrate software components with the appropriate third-party libraries.Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software to the latest tech stack.Provide technical leadership on product development solutions.Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and techniquesCreate technical documentation for reference and reporting.Establishes coding best practices and guidelines and displays the influence needed to implement drive adoption of those best practices.Responsible for Test Driven Development (TDD) and have good code coverage for all the newly added and existing code.Provide day-to-day technical guidance to team members in their areas of responsibility.Actively engaged in seeking new information which yields understanding systems and their integrations.Build trust and maintain relationships with other stake holders of the product.Participate in design and code reviews to help mentor other team members and to influence technical direction.Identify areas of risk for performance, longevity, and architectural robustness by following software development principles.Assist support engineers with escalated customer issues by reading logs, explaining intended behaviours, and identifying defects.A little bit about our stack:Our applications are hosted in Premise as well as in AWS Cloud environment.Residing on Linux serversOur code is written extensively in Java using spring framework.If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
