Senior Financial AnalystDescription -Overall supervision of product standard setting and Factory cost for Ink Supplies organization with following scope: HP Malaysia Manufacturing (HPMM) Factory operation – COS management of the various workstation with a focus on Integrated Print Head production and Product assembly Operation with Contract ManufacturersNew Product Introduction and deployment of our most recent printhead technology (aka Gen5)​What does a Senior Financial Analyst does at HP: Support Ink Supplies Operation on key deliverables of planning and reporting: Forecast / Flash, Month end close, budgeting, long-term planning with a primary focus on COS.Support ESC costing and planning processes (Flash, Budget, LTP). This includes Product costing, Factory overhead and other WW SC costs such as Freight or Inventory driven costs.Support transformation and investments projects (e.g. footprint optimization, CAPEX investments) and provide business advisory on decisions on the basis of Financial ROICDrive and enable savings projects within above defined scope.Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.Support policy and process improvement to ensure US GAAP and SOX financial compliance.Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design, with a maximized leverage on business automation capabilities.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Excellent analytical skills.Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).Superior communication and influencing skills.Superior teamwork skillsExcellent business acumen.Excellent project management skills.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
