Lead, recruit and manage a globally distributed team by establishing clear goals and objectives that are aligned with company expectations and our department’s vision. Provide leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support where required to ensure consistent delivery of department goals and objectives. Conduct career conversations, provide ongoing feedback, and mentor employees to help them build/strengthen job competencies, expand responsibilities, and enhance overall impact to the organization. Assure integration, as applicable, across all partner service delivery work streams including but not limited to: Real Estate (site builds, project services, lease and landlord coordination), Information Technology (office tech, site builds, workplace tools), People Operations (employee engagement, health & safety), Marketing (inclusion & belonging, internal communications). Develop and successfully implement an overall plan designed to operate each property at peak efficiency without sacrificing quality and ensuring compliance with all applicable life safety and crisis management rules and regulations. In partnership with the Finance Department, develop and implement portfolio financial plans/budgets and specific goals for sustainable services and program delivery. Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across the portfolio to balance coverage and performance needs with the delivery of service excellence. Lead efforts to elevate the holistic workplace experience by demonstrating a strong hospitality focus across a wide array of services such as: employee and guest arrival experience, food and beverage, health and safety, space management, office culture & morale activation, events support, and office operations. Maintain and influence effective relationships with senior business leaders and teams across functional areas throughout the organization that effectively balance the needs of the workplace team, each office, and the business. Oversee communication efforts for our team, ensuring difficult concepts are effectively articulated across various platforms with professionalism, creativity, excitement, and clarity in a way that influences others. Manage regional budgets for efficiency and enhanced productivity. Manage strategic vendor relationships and address service concerns through timely feedback and performance reviews. Partner with HR and senior leaders to coordinate and communicate information to employees and visitors in a timely manner to ensure a safe and secure workplace for everyone. Who you are: 15+ years of corporate workplace and employee engagement experience with 10+ years of experience in leadership roles a plus. Minimum of 10+ years of direct staff management experience in a global, fast-paced, technology focused office environment. Exceptional verbal and written skills and experience working with senior leadership including C-suite. Experience working globally and across cultures required. Experience with human resource and performance management processes. Proven leadership skills with an ability to motivate, engage, and develop talent. Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills. Demonstrated comfort working in ambiguous environments, with an ability to quickly and effectively adapt self and team to shifting priorities. Excellent decision quality, understanding how decisions have an impact across teams, offices, and global objectives. Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills, driving towards common ground solutions. Persuasive, credible, and timely communicator who earns the trust of colleagues and senior management. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in common Workplace Tools such as: MS Office Suite, Envoy, Office Space, Brivo, Jira, Confluence, etc. Able to respond after hours for emergencies and able to work outside of designated hours as needed. Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $133,700 -$245,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
